Pittsburgh is a football town and we don’t really need a top 10 list to tell us that, but in case you were on the fence or needed some confirmation that our title as a sports town still stands, WalletHub reviewed 397 cities and more than 50 metrics to determine the best sports towns overall and the top places for each of the major professional sports leagues.
And to perhaps no one’s surprise, Pittsburgh came in at #3 for sports towns overall and #1 for football.
The Steelers are the lifeblood of the city and have have been since the dynasty of the 1970s. A reflection of our blue-collared roots, the team is a reflection of our city’s culture.
